Starting in the village of Withypool this is a great start/introduction to the Barle Valley. A stunning walk up on to the heart of Exmoor soon follows but not before you get the opportunity for refuelling or some lunch at Simonsbath.
A stunning day walk that offers an array of some of the best scenery in the South West and takes you from its glorious countryside to the awe inspiring coastline at Lynmouth. After treating ourselves to a cream tea in Lynmouth we took the funicular to Lynton and a great B&B – North Walk House.
If you’re looking for a great weekends walking then this would be hard to beat – offering a real feel for Exmoor.
