Reporting Trail Issues
If you've found an issue then let the right party know about it.
The route uses existing Rights of Way and individual landowners are largely legally responsible for ensuring the route is unobstructed and any gates and stiles are kept in good repair. The Highway Authorities are responsible for maintaining public rights of way surfaces, signage, and protecting the rights of the public. These bodies take on the role of monitoring and waymarking the route and will work with landowners to support them in their legal duties.

Devon County Council
has responsibility for the route outside of the National Parks. Contact the Rights of Way Team or use the online reporting tool to report a problem.
Dartmoor National Park Authority
Has delegated responsibilities from Devon County Council for Rights of Way management, including the Two Moors Way, within Dartmoor National Park. DNPA operates on online ‘report a path problem’ system: contact the Ranger Team.
Exmoor National Park Authority
Has delegated responsibilities from Somerset County Council and Devon County Council for Rights of Way management, including the Two Moors Way, within Exmoor National Park. Contact the Access and Recreation Team.
